The mome raths!

One of our table decorations are these cute mome raths that point the way for Alice to follow when she gets lost. I found this craft here!

Tea sandwiches

Our tea party is going to be a lunch as well, so the girls are going to be eating tea sandwiches cut out with these cute cookie cutters and fruit with these adorable picks with cards attached!

Party favors head band

I made these cute talking daisy head bands to put in the party favor bags. I got the idea here.

After I made the daisy, I used a hot glue gun to attach them to stretchy head bands. They are super cute!

Party craft

During the tea party, the girls will be decorating their own tea cups and saucers. These naked pottery tea cups and saucers can be found here. The tea cups have a hole in the bottom and we will be planting flowers in them.

Gift Bags and Sweet Suitors

We bought a few decks of cards and created these gift bags and made the Queen of Heart's men!

We got the idea for the Suitors from family.go.com/crafts/craft-621733-sweet-suitors-t/

Painting the roses red!

We are spreading these out and putting these in the bushes by our doorstep. My daughter and I couldn't help singing:

Painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red
We dare not stop
Or waste a drop
So let the paint be spread!

Tea cups

We went to Good Will and picked up a bunch of mismatched tea cups and saucers and attached 'Drink Me' tags to each of them using scrapbook paper , card stock, scrap booking scissors and colorful ribbons.

Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party

I folks! I haven't posted in quite a while, but wanted to share what I was doing for my daughter's 6th birthday party. She LOVES Alice in Wonderland, so a tea party was an easy choice this year. I have been preparing for several weeks already and the party is on St. Patrick's Day, so we are getting pretty close! I'll be sharing all the things we have been doing to prepare and what we are doing for the party.
